Confirmation Mass Registration
We are so excited to be able to celebrate the sacrament of Confirmation with our young people the weekend of May 14th-15th!
Please register for one of the following Masses:
Fr. Paul Hottinger presiding - Friday, May 14th - 7:00 pm
Bishop Francis Kane presiding - Saturday, May 15th - 11:00 am
Fr. Paul Hottinger presiding - Saturday, May 15th - 1:00 pm
This afternoon, the Diocese of Joliet notified us of updated guidance to coincide with the State of Illinois moving to the "Bridge" phase effective Friday, May 14th. After discussion with diocesan staff and parish staff, we would like to cautiously update our protocols for the Confirmation Masses. We would like to offer additional guests the ability to register for Mass based on your initial registration and with the following conditions:
• Each family will be assigned a pew based on your registration to include the total number of people including requested guests.
• There will be an empty pew in between each assigned pew.
• You should only register additional guests if you are comfortable with little to no distancing between your family, sponsor, and your guests in your assigned pew.
• Candidates and sponsors will need to sit next to each other facing the center of the Church but may be distanced in the pew if you have no additional guests.
• Out of respect for our families, volunteers, and clergy, requests to move to another Mass should only be made on an emergency basis.
• You must register additional guests by Friday morning at 9 am.
• If you would like to be assigned to a pew distanced further from other families, please contact me directly at dlawler@youthwithheart.com
Additional Guest Registration:
Friday, May 14th - 7:00 pm
Saturday, May 15th - 11:00 am

Our Current Covid-19 Guidelines for Mass:
- Because of capacities, the number of people from each family will be limited.
- If the sponsor is a family member who is not living at home (away at college, lives in another city, etc.), they should follow the current CDC guidelines.
- If a sponsor is not able to attend, anyone can stand in as a "proxy" including a parent.
- All attendees must wear a face covering and follow all other health and safety guidelines.
- All attendees must refrain from coming if they show any symptoms, have a fever higher than 100.4 degrees, waiting on a Covid test, or are possibly exposed to someone with Covid-19.
- We will need trained volunteers including greeters, lectors, sanitizers, etc.
- There will be different procedures for entrance, confirmation, receiving communion, and exiting. We will provide more details as we get closer.
- A professional photographer will take pictures during the Mass. There will not be pictures or a reception after the Mass.
