Are you ready for the adventure of a lifetime?
YNIA is a ministry that organizes week-long Catholic service learning experiences for current high school teens throughout the U.S. This trip is open to all high school teens who want to engage in meaningful service while learning about Catholic Social Teaching and living out the Gospel call. We will work with other parish and school groups in soup kitchens, food banks, repairing homes, and serving the most vulnerable in our society. Jesus of Nazareth Retreat House
A retreat center – two beds to a room, showers and restrooms in each wing. Youth will need to bring bedding – sheets, pillowcase and a blanket or a sleeping bag. Showers and meals on site. Located on the fourth floor of Nazareth Regional H.S., the space offers conference rooms, dining facilities and two wings, each featuring 22 double bedrooms. The space includes central air conditioning in the common rooms and in each bedroom.

Cost & Fundraising
We will be asking each participant to submit a $200 deposit with their Registration Form due to the Youth Ministry Office. We will discuss individual and large group fundraisers at our first meeting and asking for volunteers to help. Our total fundraising goal for the four trips this summer is $10,000. We could ask each family to pay at least $500 but we want to make this affordable for everyone to participate. If you are unable to pay the deposit, please let us know and we'll work with you!
We will be asking each participant to help us raise support by sending letters to business that you support, neighbors, friends and family. If each person sends it to at least 10 people, it can have a huge impact on how we are supported in our mission. Here is the sample letter to adapt it to best suit your personality. Please also turn in this form with a list of who you sent letters to. You can also send it by email or or social media if that works better for you. We would like to have all donations collected by July 1st.
