This year, we are inviting our Junior High youth for a one day retreat on Sunday, April 21st! We will begin at 11:00am with Mass (We encourage family members to attend Mass with us!) followed by pizza in the Parish Center and will end at 4pm.
Our hope is that they will Encounter Christ, grow in relationship with Him and others, and be encouraged to live like Jesus!
The retreat will be held here, at St. Margaret Mary Parish, and will be led by our Peer Ministers. Our Peer Ministers are high school teens, who have been formed by us to facilitate dynamic small group discussions, lead meaningful prayer experiences, as well give thoughtful witness talks, and lead engaging icebreakers and games.
Not only does a retreat give us time away from the stresses of our lives but it helps us to reflect on God’s call in our life and our relationship with Him. This is so crucial for young people who are challenged by their school environment, relationships, and society.
This is a required part of the RE program and takes the place of the last week of class. All students are expected to attend, however if they do not attend the retreat, they will be required to attend class the week of April 21st.
Please RSVP to register by April 8th and download the permission form:
